Always a well maintained park, we camp here a lot! Friendly staff!
Clean and peaceful! I recommend it because you can get electric, non-electric, (also water hookups) tent sites, and they also have screened shelters. There are clean showers and bathroom close by, a play area for kids, horse shoe pits, and Staff is friendly and answer any questions you have. I LOVE THE SOUND OF WIND IN THE TREES!!! <3
We love Eisenhower State Park! Before we had an RV, we stayed in the screened shelters. Now we RV and love the park. Hiking is always so much fun.
I've always greatly enjoyed Eisenhower State Park. One of the better if not best maintained Texas state parks with great campsites and facilities. But what really sets the park above are the people. Always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Yesterday I had a flat on my truck at the ramp and the great folks did everything to get me back on my way. Saved me a big headache and I am much appreciative. Check out ESP - you'll be glad you did.
