This was my first visit here. It was very lovely and well kept. My favorite part was the gorgeous beach area. It is surely the perfect place for a shutter bug!
My brother was visiting from Los Angeles so my two sons and I decided to take him out of his comfort zone for a quick minute! Had a blast!
Love the trail. Not the most difficult but a good one. Nice quick pad camping area.
This Park is fantastic! It exceeds my expectations on every visit. Fellow campers are always considerate, and Park Rangers are the best you could get! We always have one visit to the small but cool Park gift shop. It is where you can pay for some neat items, such as coffee mugs, walking sticks and pencils of various fallen wood.Also the kids can get various nature toys.
This park is absolutely fabulous on every level. I was most impressed with the excellent and courteous service of all the Rangers. All of the sites a very well-maintained/modified to make camping as comfortable as possible even the more primitive no electric/water sites. The hike to the lovely beach is short and easy. The marina offers tandem kayak rentals. For an additional charge you can choose pedal power over paddle power.
