Loved it! Very clean, awesome hiking, so close to DFW & only 7 miles from Dennison if u need something!
Wonderful park! We just returned from this scenic park and area. We camped in the Bois D' Arc Loop. All sites are full hookup and pull-thru. Park is very well maintained with a very friendly staff. We will return!
We love this place, even better if neighbors would walk to the nearby bathrooms instead of driving early in the morning, or slamming their shelter doors (put a towel outer the top of the door if you plan on going on and out), or laughing/ taking loudly at 7am and waking everyone up. Thank you to the statue park personnel for watching out for our safety during the beginning of the storm last night! ♡
Love it. Quiet. Beautiful location and has full hook ups. What more could you ask for. Ok so it also has a great swimming area and great fishing.
Was very well maintained and I would recommend that you look at which spot you are camping in to see if it's you taste. We stayed in 182 overflow which was laid out nicely and perfect for what we needed. We wished we could see a bit more of the water but it was still very nice. Also be mindful of where the facilities are if you have to go to the bathroom often. Lots of families and children having fun so it's certainly worth it. :)
