What started as a small salon in Lombard in 2003 has grown into a downtown Elmhurst staple and an unstoppable salon family. We moved to Elmhurst's Western United building in 2008 and in 2020 we expanded into Effigy Salon + Lounge.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else to get my hair done! Irene is a true master and so wonderful to work with. If you are looking for a city salon outside the city, this is your place!!

I have been going to Jackie since early May and I have never been disappointed! I drive an hour each way just to see her, and it is so worth the trip! She is awesome at working with my crazy schedule and amazing with my hair. I’ll never go anywhere else! Highly recommend!!!!!

I was super nervous about getting my hair cut. I've had long hair my whole life, so going short was a big deal. My stylist took the time to really make sure she understood what I wanted and explained the different things she was doing. I felt so at ease and I love my new cut!
