Great job. After some discussion regarding the nature of the problem, our technician scaled a ladder to tell us the age of our current opener. I was surprised to learn it was installed in 2000, so guessing at the problem was relatively easy: time for a new unit. He went right to work and provided a firmer structure to support the unit. He explained a few things that were new (after all, it had been 20 years!) so we could negotiate the changes from our old system. It's rare to find such good honest businesses these days, but Efficiency Garage Door Service is one that I highly recommend. I scheduled for a new opener because the one I had didn't appear to have a compatible keypad, at least I couldn't find one online. But the technician said he had one and would recommend keeping the Genie opener intact as they are excellent units. So he was able to match up the Liftmaster keypad with my existing Genie motor and saved me over $300!
