My brother and I are beneficiaries of a trust for our Mom. We had to switch to EDJ because the original trustee ***** ***** had refused to accept the role of trustee. Upon first introduction of the trust department we had very little to any communication at all from the trust ***** ******************************* was awful. No communication consistent misinformation and outright lies. One of which was which we were told that all assets must be liquidated into the trust, including a small condo which Mom wanted to stay in the... read more

Told my advisor at Edward Jones to close/redeem my portfolio as markets began to fall at beginning of pandemic on a Thursday. He set up an appointment for me to sign forms on a Friday 4 p.m. That should have made me orders valid right away. Later found out it was not valid at time of signing because *********** was closed. So over weekend and by the time *********** received it my portfolio had dropped over $2000.00. I believe he set me up by requiring the signature so late. If Id been able to sign the form on day before, be... read more

My wife and I last week opened an account with a Edward Jones rep. *** called me and asked if I could come in for a chat. Upon arriving I noticed she was upset, so I asked what's going on. *** then told me (keep in mind she patronizes my wife and I businesses) Edward Jones, denied us as a client due to negative news. NO explanation from the just tell the client negative news... Wow now, I'm glad to know this and will be blasting the company all over this country. And thanks cause I don't want to do business with a cancel-cul... read more

BEWARE! A family member had 2 IRA accounts and only specified one to go to a specific person after she passed. While this family member was on hospice for stage 4 cancer the person made a change to the beneficiaries superseding the trust and received both accounts after she died to the surprise of everyone. DO NOT TRUST YOUR WISHES WILL BE HONORED. They have a failed policy. They don't require a wet signature or notarized. Anyone - literally anyone - can make a change if they have basic information about the account. I'm flo... read more

New Customer. Via POD. 10 weeks to resolve a simple 3-way POD inheritance. Need I say more? Edward Jones has yet to run a single transaction completed without screwing it up. Don't send your money to them. No active money management online from the customer at all. It's all Locked up only to their "Advisers" to which you will pay very high commissions to sit on your money. Stay away.

Terrible company. Mom passed away and they’re making it impossible. Submitted paperwork for times and denied. They just want to keep the money. Was going to reinvest but now there’s no way. I would never invest my money in this company now. Even with legal papers you’re not letting it go.
