the background knowledge of Dr. Gottesman is comparative to none...hard to find a Dentist that puts his patients number one and doesn't see them as dollar signs...Dr. Gottesman who i found out is a Professor at Stony Brook ...really puts his heart and soul into his work and uses the best cutting edge practices into use...thanks Doc!

I have been a patient of this practice for over four years. I recently had my upper right wisdom tooth extracted by Dr. Gottesman. Like my previous extraction (another wisdom tooth), the procedure was painless and surprisingly quick. Dr. Gottesman is an excellent periodontist and his assistants were friendly and efficient. I would recommend Dr. Gottesman and the entire staff without reservation. I’ve also seen Dr. Nussbaum who has a great personality and chair-side manner. She really put me at ease.

I had a sinus lift on the upper, right side and a bone graft on the lower left in order to prepare for several implants that need to be put in. Dr. Gottesman and his staff are stellar and did their best to put me at ease and make the surgery as painless as possible. I have a long way to go in terms of treatment, but I’m going into it without any nervousness or trepidation as they have allayed any fears of concerns that I’ve had. Dr. Gottesman is not only an exceptional periodontist and periodontal surgeon, but an exceptional human being. After many years with the late Dr. Paul Tannenbaum (at the same office), I was nervous about having to see a different doctor after Dr. Tannenbaum unexpectedly passed away. Within seconds of meeting Dr. Gottesman, all my fears and trepidation were erased. He is spectacular in all respects.

My initial visit was to set up a plan with Dr. Gottesman for future implant procedures. It makes me nervous knowing that this is not just a regular check up. I already have a fear of dentist but Dr. Gottesman and his staff had a way of calming my fears where I felt confident in moving forward with no worries. Dr. Gottesman's proposed strategies seem to be the best plan for me financially. The office is such a relaxing environment that you have no choice but to feel reassured that your in good hands...... My daughter is 18 years old and she has been looking forward to being old enough to have lip repositioning & crown lengthening surgery. We live in the south and had a hard time contacting a perio who did this procedure all the time so we decided to go else where. We called another perio office and they didnt have any openings so they recommended Dr. Gottesman. That was a blessing in disguise!
