My daughter was born a month early due to her being breech, she had to spend some time in the nicu were I was pumping breast milk to be able to bottle feed her as she was struggling to latch in the first week. My daughter began to thrive and was home within 7 days. After we were home she started to latch and I was already pumping plenty of milk. Unconcerned and uninterested with what I thought could be some contributing factors to my child's ailment, almost seemed bored and dismissive with what I had to say. Spent 3 minutes or so telling me what he thought and didn't care to say hello or be somewhat friendly to my child. I get a very bad vibe from this doctor, will not be seeing him again.
This was the worst experience I I have ever had as a doctor. He was very unfriendly and unprofessional. His manner was very dry and it seemed like he did not care for his patients at all. He did not even say goodbye and he just left the room when he was done. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone.
Terrible. This practice advertises themselves as pro breastfeeding and they are far from that. Dr. Galena was literally clueless and downright damaging when it came to my breastfeeding journey. When he asked me how much I pumped AFTER a feeding and I told him about one ounce he told me I probably don’t have enough milk and should use formula.
