Thorough and took the time to listen to my concerns
A very professional and caring doctor with my orthopedic concerns. He always listens and offers extra advice for how to move through the ongoing pain of osteoarthritis. I appreciate his always very helpful demeanor. I travel 45 minutes for his exceptional expertise.
He was very informative about my specific issues and how to resolve them. He listened to my concerns and clearly explained the reasons I needed this procedure. Throughout my recovery, I was very satisfied with his management of my pain level. I had a very good surgical outcome with my knee. I would recommend him to anyone.
The surgery I assumed went well !! I was asleep :) Everyone wishes you good luck, but if Dr. Armou is performing the surgery you don’t need luck. My pre op nurse Meredith was the best !!
Dr. Amour listens to your problem. He is very knowledgeable, knows what needs to be done, how to fix it and what your outcome should be. I left the office feeling very confident that I had chosen the right doctor.

My family has been seeing Dr Armour since 2005 with my son's first visit and surgery by Dr Armour. Since then My wife and I have both had surgeries performed by Dr Armour. I don't think I have met a better doctor that really cares about you than Dr Armour. He has great bedside matters and doesn't push unnecessary surgeries on you. UNC is blessed to have him.
Dr AMour is compassionate and doesn't beat around the bush. He makes a diagnosis and tells you like it is, which I appreciate. He is compassionate and takes your input seriously
The doctor was personable, and easy to understand what he was talking about.
