This company absolutely sucks. The only reason Im using them is because im absolutely REQUIRED to. Last month, my bill was $80. I live in a two bedroom apartment with my friend. This month, our bill ran to $290 which makes absolutely zero sense. I called, the lady on the end of the line was rude and disrespectful. THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never use Edmond Electric. Theyll overcharge you for absolutely zero reason.
Have lived in my house since 2000. The longest I have ever been without power is 3 days and that was after a pole in the neighborhood fell over in severe weather. Other than that I believe 3 hours has been the longest we have lost power. I feel very fortunate. Response time is always quick. Credit where credit is due. Thank You for the excellent service.
Yes I was late on paying my bill. It didnt get turned off . But this is what happens. 1. THEY charge you a 10.00 collection free for calling you 2. They will charge you a 4.00 late fee 3. They can if they want up your deposit fee of 20.00 on top of what you already have, NOW AT 320.00, In never had that done before. 4. They will charge you for not paying your bill by 830 am on the day it will be turned off if you dont pay within 30 minutes. 25.00 5. They turned my electric off because they said my lease ended (it did not) then wanted me to pay a $200 deposit and a $200 same day service to get it turned back on or wait until Monday and just pay the deposit. You guys are crooks.
If you want a greedy utility company, Edmond Utilities is your company. They monopolize your utilities and charge you higher rates than anyone else knowing you have no other choice but to use them. Then they nickle and dime you with additional charges including charging you to stop your services. They want to get that last bit of greed out of you that they can.
