First off thank God I see another doctor. I was calling the after service line and needed a doctors help. I just started a medication and have been having numerous tests done. He actually hung up on me. But before that he said I had all day to decide if I needed to go into the hospital and that I was bothering him. I requested to speak to him again but was reduced to tears. DO NOT CONSIDER HIM FOR YOURE HEALTH CARE. He is a horrible person. I hope he never needs a caring person to listen.
Dr. Edgar is the Elvis Presley of neurology—he is the King! Before meeting him I read the reviews about him. I am so glad I didn’t listen to the negative ones. He is brilliant. He has taken his time to thoughtfully listen and respond to my medical issues. He has given me hope and I feel truly indebted to him.
I have been going to Dr. Edgar for a few months now and I am very impressed with his knowledge and explanations as to my issues. I have had some issues with my meds however his office always calls me back and in many cases he wants to see me to clarify the issue. He seems to care and take interest in my headaches and seizure issues. As for the scheduling and timing at his office, I am impressed as to how things handled. I feel as if I am seeing my primary care Dr. due to the care.
Two years ago I was having neurological issues and was referred to Dr. Edgar. After coming to this site, I almost changed doctors before I met him. I am glad I didn't. He diagnosed me promptly with MS. Since my mom lives in Iowa, she wanted me to get a 2nd opinion at Mayo Clinic so I did. My doctor at Mayo, is one of the top doctors in the world specializing in MS. She concurred with all of Dr. Edgar's findings. Also, Dr Edgar is not rude. He is honest, thorough and is an excellent doctor.
Dr.Edgar was very helpful and kind to me. He listened to each of my questions and addressed them well. I would highly recommend him
I'm doing this to clarify some things and calm some anxieties for future patients. I came to this site to get an idea of the doctor I was about to go see. I was met with great fear and anxiety after reading the few reviews of being arrogant and passive aggressive and not knowing what he was doing. He is a very well studied and practiced physician in his field. I felt comfortable and know all of my concerns were addressed and further testing to confirm suspicion are being ordered.
He was very rude,scarcastic & inconsiderate. Diagnosed without any real testing. Don't plan to take my husband back to him.
Horrible bedside manner and unable to explain himself. He speaks hypothetically and gives no clear explanation for his educated guess.
