Dr Edgar was very good with my sister who had neuro complications from shingles. He explained the problem thoroughly and helped us to understand the possible recovery without giving unrealistic expectations.
He is rude, uncaring, not knowledgeable in he incorrectly diagnosed my husband, does not or incapable of explaining why & how he came up with ridiculous diagnosis & plan of treatment. Very arrogant and waste of our time to see him.
Does not listen to or take into account a patient's symptoms or concerns.
I had a spinal stroke last March which lent me paralyzed from my waist down. I have been working hard rehabilitating the limited use of my legs since then. I had an appointment with Dr. Edgar yesterday, January 11. I walked into a clean, efficient office and the Receptionist had all my information together. A friendly Nurse took me to my exam room and took my vitals. Dr. Edgar came in on time, and he knew my medical history. He spent the first part of our session listening to me explain my stroke, and my journey. We then had... read more
Dr Edgar has a very poor ability to understand the needs of his patients, doesn’t do his job well and treats us with arrogance. I have a long experience with a common neurological condition and due to a long distance move I had to find a new doctor in the Durango area. After multiple appointments with Dr Edgar he has not even once done an exam that included the standard neurological tests for gait, balance, coordination, strength, etc. At one appointment I asked him about a research article that had been posted on a professi... read more
I have never walked out of a doctor's visit in tears before, but today I did. Dr. Edgar was extremly belittling from the start of the appointment, he had an air of arrogance that surrounded him. He did not address my concerns with kindness or compassion and stated I was going down a "rabbit hole" with my concerns ( I was referred to him, beacuse of two different doctors, so I wasn't going to him out of the blue). When I addressed him about his "bedside" manner he was defensive, and as I got up to leave before the appointment... read more
Nearly missed a life changing diagnosis thanks to Dr.Edgar's ineptitude. While he was professional & polite in person, his untimely practice & dismissive nature is unacceptable. Staff is also incredibly rude.
Don't waste your time! I ignored the negative reviews thinking I'd make up my own mind. Those negative remarks were all true. This Dr. doesn't listen to his patients! Nurse Ratchet puts her nose in things that are NOT her business. The front desk folks are the only decent people there - unfortunately they don't seem to stick around very long....hmmmmm????!
I was referred to Dr. Edgar for help with chemo caused neuropathy.
