I was visiting my mother and went to the market because she recommended it. When I was browsing an employee mocked my adopted son because he’s biracial and asked me why I couldn’t f*** a white man instead of a n****. I think her name was Angela and I was asked to leave the store when I tried to complain about her racism. I’ve contacted the local news etc in the area and hope they get what they deserve!! NEVER AGAIN!!
We have been buying jerky from Edes almost every time we are in Amarillo. We buy several bags as we do not go that way very often. We purchased 5 bags this past weekend and I was shocked at the price and the jerky doesn’t taste the same. We won’t be back. I didn’t realize it had changed owners but you can definitely tell in the product. I’m very disappointed.
I took 2 prime Akaushi beef on June 2 and 4 on June 25th. When I picked my beef up it was short on weight. I already had my beef sold, and delivered it to buyer. They immediately sent a sample to the lab, and Subsequently sent 4 more samples to the lab and the results showed the beef I was given was Holstein. Not even angus beef and still got shorted 4 beefs i have all the documentation on this ... I would not recommend this place for anyone. RecommendedWe were camping at Palo Duro State Park from San Marcos and while out and about, we ran across Edes and decided to stop and get some fresh steaks for the grill back at camp. Got 2 Filets and 1 thick NY Strip. They were quite expensive compared to grocery store steaks but then again, they were bigger so maybe not pound for pound. We also bought their Steak Seasoning.
