The customer purchased a used vehicle with us and did state that a few days after that his low coolant light came on. We had the customer bring the vehicle in to the service department and we found nothing wrong with it. The customer took it to another shop where they initially found no coolant leak but did find an oil leak. The customer spoke to his salesman and we did a 50/50 split of the cost with the customer. 50/50 split within the first 30 days is typical for used vehicles. I've had an ongoing issue with a lifter tick per bulletin 15-06-01-002H in my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 for several months. The dealership and ** warranty are aware of the issues I have with this truck and claim the tick noise to be a fuel injector. Yes, you can hear the fuel injectors doing their tick noise after the motor gets a little heat in it and the lifter tick goes away. ** is aware of the engine misfire/tick noise as of March, 2019. ** has labor operation codes for its certified parts changers to reference. Unfortunately, we are unable to duplicate the customer's concern. The concern must be duplicated to diagnose the problem to repair per the manufacturer. We do not guess at what is wrong with the vehicle and we cannot diagnose a vehicle by a video. We have expressed this to the customer and have asked him to bring the vehicle by when the concern is present so that we can diagnose the vehicle. I did not have high expectations like I said to her because this is typical car dealerships.
