Edleman Properties misleads homeowners when starting new developments regarding common area development; by presenting neighborhood covenants that they will not enforce; will not upkeep their undeveloped property in their neighborhoods; and will not follow through on any concerns brought to their attention. The attached photos show the lack of upkeep in the neighborhood cul-de-sac lot.
This company doesn't do builds to the standard of what the contract states. I wouldn't have even taken this house after seeing them build it poorly if I didn't put $20,000 into upgrades that weren't refundable (walk away from my own $20,000 or move in and fix their garbage). Customer service and foreman just ignore you if you show them where they are wrong. All in all, it's a big mess. I don't recommend Eddleman Builders, but I do recommend Eddleman Home designs. Disappointed with quality, some design decisions, drainage planning, electrical issues, and response from Eddleman on issues. Quality: cheapest carpet you can buy installed along with nails sticking up at each door, pencil markings left on tiles and some cracked tiles and bubbling in the wood floors. Drainage planning: Every home that I have seen has issues with water drainage and the grass is so soggy and muddy and Edelman has not readdressed these issues.
