I have been going to Ed Walker's for years! It's good that they keep the original recipes as well as trying new things! No wonder it has been in business for all of these years.
It was great!! Had the fried mushrooms, they were delicious!! The French dip was very good also! And I love their fries! Perfect crunch! Wasn't very cheap, but it was delicious!!
My girlfriend and I just went there and ordered the French dip subs. 1 bite into my sandwich my girlfriend found a long brown hair in her sandwich. We immediately stopped eating and told the waitress. The waitress took my girlfriends food off the bill but left mine on. I told her I'm not eating that, there is hair in y'alls food. I had to threaten to speak with the owner before they would take my order off. They then acted like we were the bad people. I will never eat there again and I will be warning all my friends.
Took my son and 3 of his buddies to eat the 5lb burger for his 17th Birthday. It was an overall great experience! The burger was massive and the boys enjoyed themselves. Food was great and the service was good... all smiles here ;)
One day I'll actually try something other than the French Dip, maybe. Sometimes a menu can have too many good sounding options so you just fall back on the classic. The French Dip is loaded with wonderful tender meat and the Dip is hot and tasty enough to drink.
Ed Walker's in the real deal. I love that they are open late, have fantastic food, and amazing desserts. The staff is always super friendly too!
