Great customer service – This place is great! They have new equipment frequently and the spinning program is unbelievable. The teachers are more like positive coaches who push you that extra little bit. They don?t have a sauna but the energy in this place really gets me going. It is such a fun place to workout and the staff is so helpful. The young manager who signed me up remembered my name and she greets me with a smile every time I come in. She was very helpful with my questions and membership possibilities. She even gave... read more

unfriendly, uncompromising, poor customer service – I read many terrible reviews about this gym before I experienced the horror myself. First of all, only a manager can discuss the price of your membership, and the first 3 times I called or stopped in a manager wasn't there. They don't have any fees listed on their website either. I believe the membership fees are on a person to person basis. Second of all they wanted to charge me $90.00 a month. That is outrageous, and they don't even have a pool or a suana or other perks y... read more

mount pleasant location – The new Mount Pleasant location looks like it will be pretty amazing! The girls in the sales office are so nice and very helpful. I am telling all my friends to sign up for sure!

Convenient if you live Downtown. – If you don't live downtown forget it...you will pay for parking. The facility is clean and if you are looking for a no-frills place to work out, this is it. Their class schedule is very limited and they don't offer much of a variety of classes, but I guess none of the gyms in this area really do. Spin classes are o.k, but nothing exceptional. Their aerobics room doubles as a child-care facility so you might consider bringing antisceptic wipes to clean up the baby drool, etc. before you take... read more

GREAT PLACE TO WORK OUT – If you spend most of your time at the gym looking for things to criticize or worrying about whether or not there are enough old folks around, dont go to Eco Fitness. First of all, you won't get any excercise that way and secondly, I don't want to be around you. But if you want a great place to get a good workout in a clean environment with a lot of other energetic positive health enthusiasts, this is the spot. The hours are convienient, the equiptment is new and abundant and the staff have always be... read more

Rude managers – Pros: Great location Great spinning and instructors Cons: Rude Management. It is a shame that the girls who own the place never smile, make rude passive aggressive comments to clientele, and never offer a how are things, have a good day. That is the way of a business- through customer service. You can only strive on a great location for so long until you insult/offend every customer in the gym.

Best gym in town – I not sure what gym these negitive reviews are going to but their critisisms don't match Eco Fitness and Blue Turtle Yoga. The place is always clean. Its freindly and they have great classes. Yes, their are students but I'm a working guy and when I go there are as many post college people as students. My 30 something wife digs the yoga and at less then $50 per month for a ton of yoga classes I dig it too.Overall great value. I hear they are opening in Mt.Pleasant and I've told all my friends over there to ... read more

ya get whatcha pay for... – With what seems like 75% of their membership coming from the college students, you'd think they could get a few business majors in to help run the joint??! The place is sparten and most always clean, save for the the sweaty footprints on the mirrors in the yoga room. Most annoying is the prupetually broken scale in the women's locker room and the confusing locker rentals, though, not confusing to those who use the lockers, but to the staff who can't figure out who's in where. Yoga instructers are ... read more

User review by bekstar – I would have to disagree with the above review. As a working professional, I find ECO has very convenient hours (5:30 am-10:00 pm). The best classes such as Spinning and Tae Bo are at 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm. For 2 years now I have greatly enjoyed the variety and friendly atmosphere at this club. Not to mention it is very reasonably priced for all that they have to offer.
