Eck sent a service technician out to work on my air conditioner- he replaced the capacitor, looked it over and did a full service check and gave it a clean bill of health. We get home from work that night and the unit wasn't running again. Call them- which I now see was NOT after their regular service hours- dispatch assures me there wouldn't be a second fee since it was a call back. Eck services contracted with me a72 years old man to replace all the gavnize pipes in my house, they replaced 5ft,of gavnize 1 outlet outside replaced two shower valves they charged 8hr at 250 dollars an hour little over 2000 dollars I still have the same problem as before eck came out

We were able to perform most of this work, but after not being able to get to some portions of the piping without ripping out the walls, you decided that what was replaced was significant enough. I called this company from a list of plumbers on the internet and now I regret I called Them. I lost my husband to Covid and he usually dealt with all of our home repairs, my sink in my bathroom would not turn off, I had just had my toilet overflow and had it repaired a week before the sink started leaking. I called Eck Services and made an appointment to have them come look at the sink. They sent out two guys to look at it which I felt that was strange it was just a leak why was two guys needed for just a simple leak. The o... read more

Our technicians spent well over an hour explaining the estimates several times. At one point a male showed up and he looked at the estimate and was not happy with the prices. He told the techs that there was no way she was going to pay that much for a new faucet and that he could grab a used faucet from his house and have us install that. Installed an AC unit and we kept having trouble with it and after some attempt they would not work to fix the problem unless we paid for the work they had done already. That is, the work they did which gave us a non working machine. They were wanting us to pay $3500 and were threatening to send to collections. The AC was a mini split that cost $700 itself and we had paid for that already.

Your bill was reduced after you refused to pay it for over 8 months and we did give estimate to install one of our own units (BETTER PRODUCT, NOT THIS CHEAP, OVER THE INTERENT UNIT WITH NOW WARRANTY). After we installed your Mini Split you said it quit working. Our technician had talked to tech support and they said to disconnect power let sit for 30 minutes to see if that didn't clear any codes. The error code was F1 which is this brands most common problem. It had locked out after power was t... read more

I disputed a bill this morning with Todd the Plumbing Manager in Pratt, KS. When we finished our negotiation he told me he never wanted me to call Eck Plumbing again and they would never do anymore work for me. Eck's plumbing team did a foolish thing while servicing a sanitation system and they wanted to place the blame on me with four hours of charges that were not essential. Consequently I received Todd's nasty way of doing business.
