RecommendedWalked in an was pleasantly welcomed. Everyone there was wonderful. I came in for a specific cartridge and left with a smile. Prices were very competitive and the showroom was excellent. They have some pretty great audio gear in there. They also make repairs to turntables so I'll be returning when a service is needed. Thanks guys!

There are a lot of really good audio stores in the Northwest, but Echo Audio is by far my favorite. They have a wide variety of gear from entry level to exotic all at extremely competitive prices. Kurt (the owner) is one of the most ethical people I have met in any walk of life. More than once he's talked me out of buying something I thought I "needed" and explained how it wouldn't really be much of an upgrade to my system. My new "Go To" audio store. Great prices, good selection and the used equipment is a budget audiophiles dream. (Gotta keep your eye on what they get in...the good stuff goes fast)
I can't see going anywhere else in Portland for audio equipment. Kurt and his staff will work with you to find new or used equipment that fits your individual needs. Additionally, I was treated like family many years after I was last in the store - exactly the meaningful retail experience that will keep me coming back and recommending them to others.
