It is all true! About Mr Kuma(I can not call him doctor)He is rude and crude!!!! Not kid friendly at all!!! Mr Kuma and his receptionist Dawn have no compassion!! In the one year my children were his patients(unfortunately) I got a knot in my stomach going to every appointment! There is too much to list! Ironically Mr Kuma is no longer practicing here in Port Charlotte Fl. STAY AWAY!!!
Dr. Kuma started out as my wife's doctor and has been treating our kids for over around 19 years. He is trustworthy kind forthcoming with his medical opinion, and has never lead us wrong. I would recommend him to anyone.
Warning!! He is so RUDE!! I can’t believe I have had my kids stay with him as long as I have!! He has gotten worse from when my kids have first started seeing him!! Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM!! He also trays his staff Horrible!! If I give him a star it’s because they are making me!! I WOULD GIVE HIM NEGATIVE STARS!! And ALOT!!! He shouldn’t be a doctor!! If that’s what he calls himself!!!
Wow... One rude Dr.. Why would i bring my baby to a guy who is rude.... Not to mention.. He discharged us the same day as Hurricane Irma was to hit....we were supposed to be out by 11am.. And he was no where to be found...finally 3pm we are released..and yes i raised hell...but because they want me to take a newborn to a shelter ..full of people...i could keep going...but i am a honest guy...and i came on strong. .but only in a state of panic. My wife now has postpardom stress do to it all
My 4 kids have seen Dr. Kuma for the past 15 years. I've never had a bad experience with him and he has always been fantastic with all of my kids. As long as I remain in this area, he will be my childrens pediatrician. None of my kids have ever been scared of him or had a complaint about him.

Dr Kuma is the absolute best doctor we have ever had. My daughter is 5 and my son is almost 13. Dr Kuma returns calls nights and weekends. He always makes the kids smile and laugh. He is so helpful and resourceful about showing you things and teaching you things. He doesnt judge the kids by a growth chart. He is the best doctor anyone can ever ask for. We stand by you Dr Kuma. Love the Bravo Family.
MY GRANDSON HAD HIS 15MONTH CHECK UP ALONG WITH THE SHOTS. OFCOURSE HE CRIED A LITTLE BIT. AS WE WERE WALKING OUT THE DOOR DR. KUMA HANDED MY GRANDSON A STICKER, HE TOOK THE STICKER AND WHEN WE ASKED HIM ABOUT IT THE BIGGEST SMILE APPEARED ON HIS FACE. IT WAS LIKE HE WAS SO PROUD TO HAVE GOTTEN IT. I TRUST AND RESPECT DR. KUMA AND HIS STAFF AS I FEEL THEY DO MY GRANDSON AND MYSELF.
I've known Dr. Kuma for over 20 years. His receptionist it the rudest front desk person I have ever met. Dr. Kuma backs her attitude up 100%, and can be as rude as her. He will not hesitate to tell you to find another doctor. He overlooked issues with my children and grandchild on more than one occasion. They think they know everything, and they do not listen.
