Great for a couple We love living at Avalon, it's right on a pond, so you feel more connected to nature but so close to the town center. We knew nothing about the area coming here but are happy we didn't choose one of the high rises down town, we feel this is more suited for us and our dog. Avalon's convenience is unmatched - walking distance from Trader Joe's, Harris Teeter, Starbucks, and so much more. AVOID AVALON COVE AT ALL COSTS—THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! Living at Avalon Cove in Jersey City has been an absolute nightmare. The maintenance team is beyond incompetent, and management is completely indifferent to residents' concerns. I submitted multiple requests—again and again—to fix a toilet that kept splashing water everywhere, kitchen cabinets that wouldn’t close properly, and a refrigerator that stopped making ice, ruining all my food. Do not move here!! Management gaslights, pretends to address your issues. All the appliances break. Billing is atrocious if you ever use a check or anything other than their portal. I was charged late fees on a balance I already sent a check for and a month later the check has not been sent and I am getting past due notices as if I didn't pay.
Verified Renter The office staff very helpful at all times. The maintenance crew are great in resolving any issues. The community is very peaceful and makes me feel very happy residing here.
