This cafeteria-style Midtown eatery is easy to spot from the street. The atmosphere inside isn't too extravagant, resembling a school lunch room, but welcomes crowds for their good food. There's plenty to choose from as you fill your tray. Fresh meats, pastas and salads can be grilled or arranged to order, or choose from a wide range of vegetarian alternatives. Try the jerk chicken or cheese tortellini with marinara sauce. Beer and wine are available as well.

Absolute Favorite – I visit Atlanta at least twice a year and a visit to Eats is mandatory. The food is pretty good, the ambiance is so-so, the parking sucks, but for $5-$6 and change, it's a marvel. I love the jerk chicken, greens, and of course the sweet tea. Long live Eats!
Midtown slacker favorite specializes in inexpensive, flavorful meals. – The Scene This bare-bones, cafeteria-style restaurant draws a crowd of diverse in-towners with its economy dining. Counter service is fast and furious; dishes are prepared while you wait and handed over on plastic trays. Despite this joint's popularity, tables aren't hard to come by in the large space. Ambience is low-key and the furniture smacks of a college dorm. The Food The food is as straightforward as its delivery. Counter one offers fresh, semi-ma... read more
Amazing Food, Unbelieveale Prices – This amazing "hole in the wall" services some of the best chicken and greens in Atlanta and for some of the lowest prices. Given, it feels a bit like a soup kitchen, the food is much better than many of the more expensive restaurants in the Highlands neighborhood next door.
Not what I was let to believe – This place had been talked up by so many people I could't believe how weak I found it to be. The food is limited to very few choices and each item involves waiting in a different line. You can get better prepared foos at whole foods next door or even at the publix and both have nicer seating areas too. The pasta sauces were bland also and the chicken was dry.
no credit cards – One thing to remember is this place does not accept credit cards. Also the amount of parking available for this restaurant is very limited as well as being tough to get into and out of (bad traffic location on Ponce and lot is narrow so it is tough to turn around in the lot before heading back out into traffic on Ponce). The food that is available is decent but the range of selections is somewhat limited.
Eats is the best place ever!!! – Pasta Leon!! I've been going to Eat's since college and the pasta, chicken and vegetables are great!! There are all kinds of people that "Eat" there and the prices are great!!! You'll also be surprised which Atlanta celebrities frequent Eats!
Well, it IS cheap... – The pasta isn't bad, although the sauces are heavy. I tried a vegetable plate the other day and the baked potato was good and they were generous with the sour cream. Unfortunately, the broccoli was hot but raw, the baby lima beans were actually butter beans, and the macaroni and cheese was breaded (???). But, it truly is cheap.
An all time favorite – Actually, this is no longer a cash only place...it started accepting credit/debit cards awhile back (maybe a year??). Anyway, I've have been going here for years and absolutely love it. They have a delicious marinara sauce (actually, they introduced a creamy marinara that is even better!!). The atmosphere is great as well...nothing fancy...very casual. Always interesting characters behind the counter! :-)
Eats should be number one – Giant plates of food, real cheap, drinks come in cans, almost a do-it-yourself atmosphere but not quite. Cool place
