This cafeteria-style Midtown eatery is easy to spot from the street. The atmosphere inside isn't too extravagant, resembling a school lunch room, but welcomes crowds for their good food. There's plenty to choose from as you fill your tray. Fresh meats, pastas and salads can be grilled or arranged to order, or choose from a wide range of vegetarian alternatives. Try the jerk chicken or cheese tortellini with marinara sauce. Beer and wine are available as well.

A must-do experience – Eats is becoming somewhat of a legend. Excellent food; low prices; kitschy atmosphere. What more can you ask for? What I don't get is how they can make super-simple things like a sweet potato so darn good. I mean just a plain baked sweet potato, but it's somehow just excellent. Maybe their secret is that they don't mess it up with fancy gunk or cheap ingredients, but just deliver real, wholesome food.
The food is wonderful! Parking is horrible... If you have a disable person with you forget going there.
Ok food, might try again – The BBQ chicken was tender and flavorful but the macaroni-n-cheese was a little bland. The cornbread and collards were ok. I brought the turkey lasagna home to my son and he loved it, I wished I had a taste but he ate every morsel. It smelled delicious. The staff is not rude, but I would not call them friendly either. I might go again to try other dishes but I live in Alpharetta, so it is not worth a special trip.
I've loved eats since the day they opened it – Every time I come back to Virginia Highlands I always go to eats three or fout times a week for lunch, BEFORE or AFTER the crowds set in. The crew is always happy and always grill my garlic bread the way I want it. I go for the green pasta with turkey sauce and a side of pesto, or the jerk chicken with greens and beans. Bob the owner is always on the floor bussing tables and there is a great mix of suits, blue collar, and students. I get a kick from the black chicks dressed to t... read more
one of my most enjoyable dining experiences – My friend dragged me to this place last week and I had one of the most enjoyable dining experiences in my life. Their food selection was really enticing and I had a very hard time choosing which entrée to order. Their friendly wait staff recommended their best-sellers, which was very awesome. It was so flavorful. I really liked it a lot. I was definitely pleased with both the food and the service.
5 STAR FOOD AND SERVICE – HI This restaurant is really the best ever. Start with the minute you walk in the door the workers are so friendly and so willing to walk a first timer through the menu and the set up. We were there on a Sunday and all workers were young guys with great smiles and very upbeat attitudes. The food that Chef Steven Bacon presents is totally over the top. Start with portion size. It is normally super sized. The Taste is total heaven and you can taste that this food is made with this mans heart and soul ... read more
