Great Brazilian wax – As an Eastsider, it's been tough to find a good place to get a Brazilian wax. However, I've found a new favorite! As far as service goes, they are very professional, thorough and try to minimize pain as much as possible. Prices are reasonable and the location is convenient. The one downside is the ambiance - it definitely feels more like retail doctor space than a spa, but overall, I definitely plan on going back.

Nothing inviting about this place. – I was completely disappointed from the time I walked in to the time I left. The reception area is very messy and old. Back desk area is filled with papers. All the towels. robes, and sheets are old, stained and torn. My little snack had mildewed grapes, obviously too old for consumption, a couple of Ritz crackers, not packaged, and cheese, packaged thank goodness. Maintenance rooms were left open and very visible, filled to the brim with mess and junk. Sanitation is a big question. The wo... read more

Great Value for the Service – The place is small and somewhat clinical, but for the prices and actual service, you can overlook that. The monthly specials are really worth it, and there hasn't been any other place that I've found that can top the value and service. However, skip the sauna because it looks like a small coffin with lights in it...not for the claustrophobic.

Not An Oasis – So many spas to choose from make it impossible for anyone to believe this one gets repeat customers. Underground dungeon, cold, seriously lacking in peaceful ambience for facials, and minimal offerings for facials that actually address anything beyond a good cleaning. Dermalogica is used all over town because it's cheap. For a real facial that can enact some changes and improvements against the aging process, I highly recommend you choose another spa. This one is in the business for the owner, not for the cust... read more

A very personal environment where you feel like family. – I like the fact that they remember your first name and treat customers with respect. It's a very affordable spa that renders excellent services. They have a variety of services from massages to manicures and pedicures. The location is excellent because it's a peaceful environment away from traffic. The place is nice it doesn't have the frilly lighting and fake environment. It's a relaxing environment where one can be rejuvenated and feel at home. The staff is very pro... read more

Dirty and Unpleasant – Rude owner left me waiting at the front desk for nearly 10 minutes while she visited with the chiropractor's personnel in the same facility. The reception area smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Facility is dark, and dirty. I would not have anything other than a massage at this place for fear of the absence of sanitary/cleanliness. I don't think my standards are too high, this place really is dirty.

the best pedicure! – I just wanted to share that I got a spa pedi from Lisa and she gave me the best pedi I have ever had! She began my service by asking me exactly what I wanted done, and did just that. She paid great attention to detail and and gave a fantastic foot and leg massage. I definitely recommend going to see Lisa for your pedicures (and I made my next appointment before I left and added a manicure to it)!

Worse than a beauty school – My friend and I did the massage, facial, manicure, salt scrub, and swedish shower--what a disappointment even for the low price. The massage hurt (even after asking for lighter pressure), towels looked like they were 9 years old, the swedish shower was out of hot water after my friend had used it, and no soap in bathroom. I was so cold when I got out that I had to warm up in the sauna again. The manicure lady spent the whole time telling me how bad her life was going. The spa itself looks like it... read more

Best spa experience – This is the BEST kept secret in Bellevue!!! I have been going to Gene Juarez for years. I felt so much more relaxed, and the spa did what was intended...made me feel great, rather than just ritzi with the HOPE of feeling great. Just a massage, and 3 days later, still no numb fingers! Thanks!
