Dr. Hermecz was the most thorough physician I've seen in years. Not only was he kind and supportive, he spent time talking to me, discussing differentials and LISTENING. He knew I was upset, thinking it was something major, and he responded to that by not simply throwing some pills my way without any diagnostics. Denied service to my child with an ear infection because we are military from out of state and haven’t switched over to Alabama Tricare yet. Our insurance card with all of our info wasn’t good enough, they wanted to speak to someone on the PHoNE to also verify and our insurance company is on eastern standard time so it was closed already. Attitude from the start and not military friendly. I will drive the extra mileage and go to Spanish Fort to the urgent care instead for the next 4-5 years that we live here. I went to Urgent Care by the Bay for the first time to get the shots required to apply for my masters program. I was greeted by a smiling staff as I entered what I would consider a very welcoming environment. In addition to this, the staff was quick and helpful, going the extra mile to help my understand exactly what my school required. Overall, it was a great first experience! As a new resident to the Easter Shore I have found my “go-to” place! I would highly recommend Urgent Care by the Bay to any and everyone!
I have been here a couple times and the staff is always so great! They get you in and out in a decent amount of time. Thank you to the wonderful staff for all you do. It is greatly appreciated!
