Born and raise in the city of Detroit and I enjoy the Eastern Market almost every Saturday... Fresh vegetables fruit and flower
Dropped 40 or so buck's out of my pocket when pulling my key's out to lock vehicle and turned around to watch someone pick it up and pocket it but not before showing his buddies.. �

I am not from the area and recently moved closer to the market. I have heard RAVES about the market. However after driving down, I found out that it was closed. I ish the page reflected the ACTUAL hours and dates open. I can't wait to go once it's open again, but I was VERY disappointed

First time there, was blown away...so many decisions!!! Yummy goodness!!
It was my favorite spot during events, but the store are getting approve each year.
Love the Eastern Market. We travel from the Lansing area 3 or 4 times a year. Each time we discover a new store on the outskirts of the market..whether it is a food store or antique shop etc.. this district is worth a visit if you have never been.
I was born in Detroit and have seen the market get better each time I've come home. Wonderful place, great people and the food is far superior than the stuff from the major chains.
It's where I do 95% of my grocery shopping. The surrounding stores like Devries cheese shop and Rocky's bulk food complement the fresh produce.
