Been bringing my 4 to doctor Boone ever since he owned the place and never had a complaint from a one of em yet. Don't have a whole lotta choice here in grand rapids but doesn't matter to me as I can truthfully say my kids like doctor Boone. I see people on hear givin bad opinions cuz they ask you to sign a form to treat yur kids and don't let the parents back with the kids. All I can say is at least you have a chance to say yes or no before they do anything and I wouldn't want a child molester allowed back their with my kid... read more

I am a single mom (not by choice) with 2 daughters, age 13 and 10. I found Eastern Dental a few years ago when I went from having dental insurance through my job, to having Medicaid when I lost my job (again not by choice). When we first started there, it was a different dentist, Dr. Amiri. He was awkward, and not very good with my young girls, but he did do the work they needed to have done, and took Medicaid, so I dealt with it. I recently brought my 3 youngest kids to Dr Boone at Eastern Dental for checkups and cleanings. It had been a while since we had been there. They have really improved things there with a very kid friendly atmosphere (kind of a tropical animal theme going on). My kids have always liked Dr Boone. This last time, 2 of them needed fillings (which they were nice enough to do the same day!) and when they came out I asked if they were numb, they said yes, but they were confused because they said they didn't get a shot. Not sure what some peoples problem is... These people were really really good to my kids. The place is clean, a little old and could use some updating, but you cant beat the price thats for sure! Both of my kids got their teeth cleaned and some fillings on the same day. Will be returning to Eastern Dental. Thank you!
Horrible! More parents need to write Attorney General Went in Dec 2012. Waited for one hour past appointment time just for 1st child to get in, and 1 hr and 20 minutes for 2nd child...could not bring 3rd child on same visit. Went for cleaning only. BEWARE, no parents are allowed to go in back nor even meet the dentist. They lock the door!! Would a pediatrician not allow the parent in the examination room, not meet the parent and lock their door? Poor practice and scary! Can't ask for better! I have 3 kids, and they have all been seen and treated by Dr. Boone and his staff at Eastern Dental on more than one occassion. I have always been told what they are going to do on my kids. I trust them to tell me what my kids need. They are nice to me and my kids. Yes, the office is small, and older, but it is clean and could be a whole lot worse!
small office, but clean. hard to find a place to take michild for my kids and they do and they seem to be good to my kids. i have 3 boys and 2 girls from 15 down to 5 and all seem to do well there. they get the cleaning done and the work done in the sane day. works good with my scedule.
