About this business
East University Veterinary Hospital opened for business in 1991 as a full service small animal hospital. We purchased the hospital from its original owners March 1, 2000. My wife and I had just had our first child and knew Auburn was a great place to raise a family and we were eager to return to the Auburn/Opelika area. Since that time, the clinic and our family has grown by leaps and bounds. We now have three daughters, and the clinic family has expanded as well. RecommendedDr. Patten has taken incredible care of my sweet senior dog over the years and up until the very end. He’s always been upfront, but never in a way that comes off as blunt. He’s been gentle with my dog and gone above and beyond to make him comfortable. I couldn’t recommend him more.
