East University Veterinary Hospital opened for business in 1991 as a full service small animal hospital. We purchased the hospital from its original owners March 1, 2000. My wife and I had just had our first child and knew Auburn was a great place to raise a family and we were eager to return to the Auburn/Opelika area. Since that time, the clinic and our family has grown by leaps and bounds. We now have three daughters, and the clinic family has expanded as well. In 2003 we added a part time Veterinarian to accommodate more... read more

Dr Jessica Loch is a great addition to this clinic! She has the perfect blend of heart and knowledge to serve both animals and their people. She has been the vet I recommend for 6+ years and I followed her to your location. She even volunteers monthly with Chick N Pups Canine Crusade to improve the quality of life for neglected yard dogs. If you want a competent and compassionate veterinarian, go to this clinic and ask for Dr Loch!
Love Dr. Patten and how wonderful he is with ALL our dogs!! He genuinely cares for them!!
There aren't enough positive words to describe East University Vet. Our last little guy to part with was Sam, who was 19 years old. Bri, one of the sweetest individuals we've ever met, gave our boy subcutaneous fluids on a regular basis for the last year and was in the room with us when we said goodbye. Dr. Marine was ALWAYS willing to answer my 20+ questions and put me at ... read more
Fantastic docs, staff, and service! Highly recommend.
Sweet Courtney comes out every morning to get her “girlfriend”, my Gracie who needs daily fluids. Dr Patten and the staff are the most caring and professional vet office I have been to. I appreciate them immensely.
My cat Batman started having some issues Monday night with urinating. I called Tuesday morning to see if they could see him and they got him in right away! I was a new client who had never been there before and they still got me seen in the same day. Dr. Loch even called me after she did her exam and diagnostics and went over everything very efficiently with me. She was extremely knowledgeable, caring, understanding, and paid the best attention to my baby! I was recommended by a friend of mine who had to bring her baby there... read more
Dr. Loch saved my chocolate lab, Axel! I am blown away by the care that he received. The entire staff was extraordinarily helpful, accommodating and considerate. As a first year veterinary student, I aspire to be like Dr. Loch one day and have as amazing of a staff. I would highly recommend EUVH!
Dr. Patten is amazing and very caring. They will take great care of your fur babies.
Business response:
Thank you! We think Dr. Patten is amazing too. 🥰
Dr. Pete Marine has saved a fur baby for us more than once. He has the utmost understanding of how much we love our pets and is incredibly attentive and caring. The staff at EUVH takes great care of all the babies that come in the door. We are so thankful for the love, care, phone call follow ups and general concern for everyone. Y’all are the best!
