I have been a patient of Dr. Gentry and her staff since 2006. I've had two surgeries with Dr. Gentry and she was amazing for both. I can not thank her enough for the life changing work she did for me. After a labor and delivery Dr. on-call sewed up my girly parts way way too tight Dr. Gentry gave me my sex life back. The second was this past November to remove an ovarian cyst. She is an excellent surgeon and followed up with me in person several times after surgery.
If you are one of the unfortunate few who have an extremely painful, debilitating disease called endometriosis I'm writing to tell you Dr. Gentry was my holy grail. I can only speak from my own experience. Dr. Gentry as an empathetic human being and more importantly, in my case, a skilled surgeon. Dr. Gentry has many tools in her toolbox to help. Dr. Gentry is very sweet, so smart and the GREATEST! I read about her and when it came time to have my hysterectomy, I looked her up. I felt so safe and comfortable, knowing I was in good hands.
Everything is excellent. She is the best!
Dr. Gentry is fantastic. I discovered her a few years ago when I was dealing with a girly medical issue - long story short, she was amazing in dealing with a scary problem. She spends lots of time with her patients and is great with questions. I had outpatient surgery and have been fine ever since! She's definitely a popular doctor, so call early to make an appointment. Dr. Chan (the other OB-GYN in her practice) is also fantastic, so see her if you can't get in to Dr. Gentry. Five stars!
But I thought it was me, although I haven't been in the office in a long time that one particular office staff member always gave me these crazy looks. But the main thing is that Dr. Gentry is awesome! I want to bring my daughters to her. I would recommend her in a minute of any one needing to fine a great OBGYN. I see a lot of people had a long wait time in waiting room, but it's worth it, because you know you will be in great hands with Dr. Gentry.
I came in for my D&C appt with Dr. Gentry (first time we had met) and she insisted on doing a sonogram before the procedure. She found what she thought was a heartbeat and insisted I go to the lab to confirm before doing anything else. She was right.My healthy baby girl is now 1 year old. There is no way to explain my gratitude to Dr. Gentry. You cannot imagine the emotion that comes over me when I think of what I almost lost.

She has a ton of patients, but she really does make you feel like you are her focus when she is with you. She always made sure she didn't talk to me in 'doctor-speak' as she called it, and made sure I understood the plan. She is worth the wait!
