Dr. GENTRY and the staff at East Bay Women's Health are amazing. After seeking many doctors' opinions on issues I was having, Dr. Gentry was the only one to thoroughly evaluate me. She found the problem on my first visit, scheduled the surgery, and performed it herself. I continued to go to her and she took great care of me during my pregnancy and she delivered my first baby who was a preemie. Dr. G's M.A. Trisha is great. She knows how much I hate the scale and although it's part of my office visit she makes light of it by encouraging me to close my eyes. Trisha is a wonderful M.A. that really adds to the office experience.
As a surgeon, she is GREAT. She is also kind, smart and takes time to answer my questions. I have mixed feelings about the office staff and office management. I think as a surgeon she is great. I don't know if I'd deal with the office in general for a yearly exam.
She was warm, reassuring and very, very helpful throughout my ordeal. She visited me practically every single night during my three week stay in the hospital during the holiday season, and was there to personally do my emergency c-section. Most OBs do not even attend your delivery these days if it happens after hours or on weekends when they are not on call. I will always be a big fan of Dr. Gentry's. I have only had positive visits to Dr. Gentry's office and recommend her with out a doubt!
As always , Dr. Gentry & her Staff are conscientious, amicable, kind & caring. They were helpful, with another medical matter & concerns, other than my the wellness of my Reproductive Health. I appreciate them so much, for putting me at ease about the matter. Many doctors & their staffs brush matters off, but are aware & attentive to all needs. I truly thank & appreciate them for it. Keep doing what is being done... Goodies to come. ??
I feel that she is generally well-informed and a good doctor. I've found her staff to be extremely helpful and kind. You don't have to wait FOREVER to get an appointment with her. She agreed to do a number of tests for me that are not the norm, to put my mind at ease.
After being told I had to get a hysterectomy because of a 9.9cm fibroid I decided to get a second opinion. A friend refered me to dr. Gentry. I am so happy Dr. Gentry is ahead of her time and i get to keep my uterus. It's refreshing having a doctor that knows her stuff. I look forward to my surgery and feel confident that I am in good hands.
