I've using Louise in many different applications over the past 3 months including this exact moment with a full bluegrass band and she is fantastic! I would highly recommend an Ear Trumpet mic. David Foster
I also had the opportunity to use your MIC with the "barefoot movement" at a bluegrass festival in New York state. I was able to put it on the live audio monitor at a suitable volume with no bad feedback. There was another audio engineer visiting and he too was very impressed. We were thinking this must cost thousands. I was surprised at the reasonable price when I look it up on the Internet.
I had the opportunity to use the Louise mic with "Barefoot Movement " on a one off thru N .C. The outdoor venue has many issues to overcome for acoustic acts.. Skeptical to use the mic. To my surprise , I achieved all the gain that I needed and more with very little effort and very little eq.. My new favorite ctr mic ..
"Louise" has had two runs with the bluegrass group I play with in Wisconsin(2nd Strings). We use her for trio vocals. I have one statement to make: "She's pretty and always listens to what we have to say."
