The office is stuck in the 1980's, for example my copay is handled by pen and paper with the little receipt book. The office is old and I sat and listened to everyones evaluation interview in old rooms with complete clarity. The person who provided evaluation was wearing jeans and a sweater and then discussed my issues with the doctor down the hall and I was again able to listen with complete clarity along with every other patient. Just go to Stonybrook, professional, state of the art equipment and same copays.
I look forward to it every 5 years. Dr Duva is a professional and father figure all in one. Cannot say how relieved I am after each procedure. His staff are helpful and represent him well.
the office staff was extremely competent and nice why has this person berated them maybe it was the attuite he or she put forth that caused it.

Went in for a pre op visit re a colonoscopy. The receptiomist, and his assistants Kathy and Karen couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.
This Dr., and his incompetent office, deserves a negative rating. Poor followup, rude office help, and incompetence should make anyone stay far away from this practice.
Dr Duva is an awesome Dr. My disappointment is with his staff. They tell me how important it is that I have a procedure and in the next breath they will not give me any other COVID test other than the nasal one. So they canceled my procedure. I am willing to take any type of COVID test other than a nasal swab but they totally dismissed me.
I have been a patient of his since I moved to Eastern Long Island several years ago - From start to finish his demeanor, ability to put a patient at ease and sense of humor make a colonoscopy not an unpleasant experience - His attentive,knowledgeable and friendly staff are an added plus- I highly recommend him and his staff
Always recommend Doctor Duva all family see him for many years and friends.
