After 10 years of going to Dupont Vet, my 16 year old dog passed away at home. I took his body to the vet for cremation two weeks ago. Not one person from the clinic has reached out- not even a sympathy card. I lost two other dogs when I was in Texas and the passing of the patient was acknowledged very sensitively by those vets. In the past two years, I have been passed to enough veterinarians in the practice that it felt like there was no relationship between me and the doctors. The staff at DVC have become like family after my dog had surgery to remove a tumor between her toes. My lab is 10 years old and the healing process was prolonged. Dr. Heller went way out of her way to help us through what became a seven week ordeal of daily and then every other day vet visits. The techs are superb and loving and the front desk staff (Verna, Jessie, and Jocelyn..... I know them well...) so kind and patient.... To both me and my dog.
