I underwent breast reconstruction with Dr. Atisha following a double mastectomy, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is both a world‑class surgeon and an exceptionally compassionate physician. Dr. Atisha performed a nipple‑sparing mastectomy with nerve grafting, an advanced technique that preserves the natural look of the breast and allows for the return of nipple sensation — something not typically possible after mastectomy. Truly one of the worst encounters I have had with a medical professional. Please take this as a warning to never book an appointment with Dunya. A bad excuse of a doctor let alone MD. Be aware.
Genuinely one of the rudest physicians I’ve encountered. She is inconsiderate of patients’ time and contributes to the frustration many people already experience within the healthcare system. Her tone feels degrading, often causing you to question your own health despite having a network of physicians who have already determined that you are in good health. She appears to disregard input from other specialists and instead arrives at rigid, black-and-white conclusions. I would not recommend her care.
