I had an appointment with Dr. Dumonski yesterday Oct. 2, 2023. Having problems with the lower right side of my back. Having severe pains with it. I am waiting on an MRI to be done now. Not sure what the outcome will be. Not sure if I will need surgery or not. Dr. Dumonski did surgery on the lower left side back in 2020. He did a great job. I have had no pain with it at all. I have a Neurostim installed in my back that wasn’t working properly and the leads needed to be replaced. The Medtronic rep suggested that I see Dr. Dumonski as there is a new procedure and Dr. Dumonski is one of the few who knows how to perform it. I saw Dr. Dumonski and after he explained the procedure and the benefits of having it done I agreed to have it done. Dr. Dumonski correctly diagnosed the cause of my pinched nerve pain and performed a successful anterior cervical decompression fusion to give me relief. I was impressed with his knowledge and skill. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Dumonski.

From the time I was scheduled for an MRI on a herniated disc, the care and attention to detail for surgery and thru all post-surgery was more than I had experienced anywhere else. The office waits times were minimal and all appointments were on schedule. The staff was efficient and the surgery Dr Mark performed was successful. Like a well oiled machine. You can tell they value you as a patient and your time. As painful as this injury was, I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Strongly recommend Dr Mark Dumonski.

Dr Dumonski is an amazing doctor. He is very personable and takes time with you to explain exactly how he plans on treating you. He is very patient and will make sure that you leave his office fully aware of everything. If you are having any issues with your back I highly recommend Dr Dumonski and Guilford Orthopedic, you will not be disappointed with the care you receive.

I was very pleased with the attention to detail by Dr Dumonski and his PA. They prepared me for what would be involved in my surgery and followed up with informative visits after completion of the surgery. The explanation by the PA of my spinal issues revealed by the MRI were the most comprehensive I have received by any medical professional including Neurosurgeons at Duke and Wake Forest.

In June 2020, Dr. Dumonski performed a microdiscectomy on my lower back for a herniated disc. The surgery and recovery went very well for me. 2.5 years later, I have no regrets and am so glad he was my doctor. I have not had any problems since the surgery so I couldn’t ask for more. All of his care prior to, during and after made me very comfortable, I felt well informed and he answered all the questions I had. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of this type of care.
