This neighborhood cafe has been serving delicious sandwiches and burgers for over 40 years. Locals know that the place to get a quick bite and meet old friends is at this Red Bank landmark. As good as the sandwiches are, the real stars are the hand-dipped ice cream cones. Soft-serve vanilla ice cream is dipped into milk chocolate creating a delicious hard coating. There are a few tables inside, but most folks pick up their order and go.

Great food and service!!! I had a. Cheese burger, it was so good, French fries were hot and good !! My husband had the fish sandwich, said it was the best he ever had !! We will definitely be back soon!!!!!!!!!!

I live 2.32 minutes away from this place and have only ate here for malts and ice cream. Which if that's all you ate there you'd be happy and super fulfilled. My buddy found out I never ate a meal like lunch or dinner there and I thought he was going to lock me up and throw away the key. So I agreed to meet him and try a burger that he stated was the best. When the juicy well seasoned burger hit my mouth, I swear I heard the 1812 Overture going on. It was everything he had built it up to be. So now I will be back to try out ... read more

This place is awesome! We showed up late on Saturday night. My wife informed me later that they were already closed, which I didn't notice, but they served me anyway. I'm glad they did. They made me a burger that was to die for and I'm willing to bet it's the best burger in Chattanooga. The owner was hanging out outside when we got there, chatted with us, and wanted to know if there was anything else he can do to make our meal better. He's also the chef.
