Dr. Gearity is a terrible human being, doctor, and caregiver. While he may have Doctor in front of his name, he is greedy businessman with no regard for any patients under the care of him or anyone in his practice. His practice is overbooked and does not account for the scheduling needs which occur with nearly all pregnancies, making it impossible to follow recommended prenatal care. Horrible experience with this doctor. Rude, dismissive and did not let me speak. I’ve been spotting and cramping for over a week and had to get checked out. He did not care and did not ask me anything. No check up. Will never see this doctor again.
An established patient for years. I was unaware i was pregnant for the past ~20 weeks (with PCOS periods are irregular) so called to schedule the soonest appointment. Got cancelled the day before appointment because visits needed to be approved by the facility director which could take days or even weeks. What am i supposed to do in the meantime??? Thanks for caring WCO, smh! Went to another doctor.
Rude, rushed & impersonal. Asked if I was going to be an “easy patient” at my first appointment with my first baby. Would not recommend him. Practice is huge, can never speak to someone timely or have them call you back.
Not impressed. My first visit with him, he was fast talking, cocky, and degraded my long time obgyn. Stating "he just did whatever he could to get you out of his office." Which is what I felt like he (Gearity) was doing. He refused to let me speak, interrupted me when I did speak and wouldn't listen to any of my medical history. At one point I had to raise my voice to get him and his nurse to stop chit-chatting about politics during my pelvic exam so I could ask a question. Dr. Gearity was a bit insensitive and cold. I am in my third trimester and was concerned about being asthmatic in the pandemic and my school pushing me to teach more face to face classes. Dr. Gearity seemed very uncaring and stated teach all face to face classes because the walking will be good for the baby. I went into my concerns about having difficulty breathing and teaching with the mask. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a physician. Super rude and terrible.
DON'T GO THERE!!! It was my first time and I'll never be back. This place is an absolute joke. I waited an hour in the lobby for my annual exam. First thing he talks about is getting three vaccines. I told him I'm not here for vaccines and he told me I have to say what I have to say. Then he asked about my cycle. I told him it's normal. then he pushes for me to get an IUD and birth control.
