I’ve been going to this practice for about 10 yrs. Normally I see another Dr for my yrly visit. Due to issues I was having, Dr. Gearity was the only one able to do my hysteroscopy. He come in the exam room, asked if I took the meds given to me. I wasn’t prescribed meds for the procedure. He told me we would just have to do the procedure without meds to open my cervix and it might be painful. He was very rough and opening my cervix was excruciatingly painful. I had never been to this office before. When I called to make the appointment, I told them specifically what procedure i was interested in having done. They scheduled me with Dr. Gearity. I showed up 20 minutes before my appointment and was left waiting in the lobby for well over an hour after my appointment time. This office is horrific. I lost my baby due to medical malpractice so I knew my next doctor would have to be very knowledgeable and educated. This is not the case at this practice. I highly advise you do not go here.Dr. Gearity seems to run the practice like the wild wild west. The front desk staff treated me like I was at the DMV or government office. This doctor put me and my family in so much stress that I almos lost my baby.
First time being pregnant, I had a lot of questions. Didn’t even say hello or introduced himself. I had many questions and literally told straight forward to come back in two weeks because I was early on my first prenatal visit. I had to insist I had questions and that I was bleeding a little he was very very unprofessional . I felt like he was mocking me the 8 min or so that my appointment lasted. Kept repeating that It could an abortion and until we are sure to come back. WOW I still very upset. Worst doctor ever
The worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. No respect for you, your time, dismissive of anything you want to discuss, made it blatantly clear he doesn’t bother to so much as glance at your chart before seeing you. Worst experience I have ever had, waiting two hours after appointment time to see him for a rushed, rude, dismissive interaction.
He's fine if you don't care what the doctor does and it's a simple short term problem.I don't care that he's a male gynecologist, however he is continuously trying to manipulate me into taking birth control when it won't work with my antidepressants. Birth control made me aggressive and impulsive in the past.I have PCOS so I was told to take Metformin twice a day as an alternative. She is rude and snippy. Truly awful. She’ll talk down to you like a child and seems bothered when you ask questions. The staff doesn’t answer the phone or return calls. Go somewhere else. This place is so bad.
To start, the cabinet in the bathroom was almost completely full. I could barely fit my cup in, and now I am wondering if this is why it’s been almost two weeks and I have yet to receive my results from my pap. I have been getting Pap smears for years now and I have never had to wait this long for my results, especially because I am having issues.
