Dr Ray is not only an excellent surgeon but he is so genuine. I put off this 5th surgery for a few years and was still apprehensive but knew my symptoms were out of control. When I saw him and his NP, Julie Salmo they couldn't have been nicer and more reassuring. I had to wait a bit to have the surgery due to family issues and he assured me they would take care of me until the surgery and of course after. One of the biggest positives was his honesty regarding the after affects of surgery and the overall affectiveness. I real... read more

I had a cervical disc replacement with numerous complications. I was in an ER three times for these issues and they called the surgeon’s office and spoke to him eventually. The ER was trying to admit me (ambulance to his hospital since the one I was at didn’t have neurosurgery or neurologists). Dr Ray refused to admit me. So, I spent multiple days at the ER getting IV meds while they continued arguing with Ray. I told Dr Ray I was substantially worse after surgery and was continuing to worsen, but he laughed it off. I ended ... read more

Dr. Ray performed cervical neck surgery on me last year and it was the first surgery I have ever had in my life. Not only was he exceptional performing the surgery but he was also extraordinary with his follow up, care, and has the best bedside manner of any Dr. I have ever encountered! I feel truly blessed that he was the doctor who performed the first surgery of my life and I will always be very grateful to him for making sure that I was well taken care of, and always comfortable. He is a superb listener and extremely comp... read more

Dr. Ray performed a cervical fusion on me 4/10/2023. Not only was the surgery successful in relieving all of my symptoms and pain but I am already starting back to the activities I enjoy, slowly of course. The pre surgical prep and post surgical support was wonderful. I cannot say enough to express my gratitude to Dr. Ray for giving me back my health and freeing me from pain. In addition to great bedside manner, his confidence and credentials and experience cannot be topped. My results speak volumes. Dr. Ray gave me a life b... read more

I have been struggling with a extremely debilitating bad back & 3 prior failed surgeries, for the past 4 years. Having been bounced around from one "Great Dr." to another, with zero success', I was truly giving up hope. Upon meeting Dr. Ray, not only did he seem to have a plan in place, after looking at my imaging, he also was quite convinced that there would be a positive outcome, at the end of our new partnership. It is hard to put in words, how blessed I feel, to have been taken in by not only Dr. Ray, but every member of... read more

Dr Ray is an all around great and very intelligent surgeon. Best decision I made was going to him for my spine issues.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Ray. I had been struggling weakness on my left side since 2021 due to a car accident. My active lifestyle had come to a stop. It was suggested I have a fusion by another surgeon but Dr. Ray said it would limit my mobility & because of my age, I would subsequently have to have more surgeries down the road. He suggested a less invasive approach. I can't say enough good things about this man! Brilliant surgeon. Compassionate. Kind. He takes the time to explains things until you understan... read more

Dr. Ray has been my chosen neurosurgeon and has performed both a cervical lower lumbar surgery to correct substantial life altering pains. He is not only an experienced, confident and trusted surgeon but he is also an effective communicator and demonstrates empathy as well. Both surgeries were successful and I am pain free and able to resume normal life activities. Highly recommend him!
