He's absolutely wonderful. He promised he could help with an issue I've had for years. And he did!! I feel like I have a new lease on life. He was patient, explained everything in terms I could understand. I cannot sing his praises enough!
Me husband had a cervical laminoplasty by Dr. Ray with very good results. The Doctor explained everything well and made us feel very comfortable. Could not be more pleased.
Dr Ray performed a cervical spinal fusion 6 weeks ago and he was excellent in all respects. His professionalism and expertise helped the entire surgery, hospital stay, and recovery manageable. I greatly appreciate his excellent skills, and quality staff in his office. His triage nurses were available quickly and easily handled any questions or concerns I had post surgery.
Dr. Ray performed my third spinal cord surgery. After severe trauma and two other spinal cord surgeries, my thoracic spine was a disaster and my quality of life was very poor with all the problems my spinal cord injury caused. I had hit rock bottom honestly and Dr. Ray was able to do an incredible job repairing my spinal cord and addressing multiple issues. My prognosis now is as good as it could possibly be and I am very grateful to Dr. Ray and his team. Dr. Ray gets the highest ratings I can give.
Dr. Ray is an outstanding neurosurgeon! I can honestly say that he has “the hands of an angel“! On July 13,2021, I had a cervical discectomy and fusion. Only five weeks later Dr. Ray performed a lumbar discectomy and fusion on me. For both surgeries i had great results. Dr. Ray is a superb neurosurgeon. Today I had decompression of spinal stenosis and nervous stenosis in my lumbar spine. I experienced immediate relief of the pain, going down my legs and my buttocks.. His staff as well as the surgeon were extremely pleasant, friendly and informative, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’m a critical care physician, and and cardiologist and have been for over 45 years. If I have recurrent spinal problems Dr. Ray is the only one that I would ask to fix it.
Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Wilson Ray and the two neuro surgeries of a bulging disc/sciatica of L4/L5 were not positive. (A third surgery was recommended by him that involved putting Titanium plates on my lower back thru an anterior surgery ie from the front). Within a matter of months, I had both cervical and lumbar surgeries. Treated very well by Doc Ray and his staff. I felt almost 100% better shortly after both surgeries. If I ever have need of additional back surgeries, I wouldn't let anyone but Dr. Ray touch me. Thanks, Doc!
Dr. Ray explained everything before surgery. After surgery he reviewed everything. I walked out of the hospital the next day with results that were beyond my expectations!
