Dr. Mook provides exceptional care and he is distinctly accomplished in the field of orthopedics. Yet, he has a down to earth empathic and positive encouraging vibe. He was the surgeon I met in ER after my injury and his magnetic smile and positive energy diffused the horrific pain I was in at that moment. Dr. Mook performed my surgery and detailed the procedure and what to expect during the healing process. Surgery was a huge success and the scars are minimal. My visit was very pleasant. The staff ensured all my questions were answered and was accommodating and understanding while I ensured my insurance authorizations were ok for treatment. Dr. Mook was knowledgeable and detailed in his examination and explanation of diagnosis as well as treatment recommendations. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Mook and OrthoVirginia to friends and family.

Shoulder replacement was performed by Dr. Mook. He thoroughly explained the procedure and post healing. I felt very confident in him and comfortable talking with him about any concerns I have.
I saw Dr. Mook & it was quick & efficient. He diagnosed my injury in a few minutes by my reported symptoms & a few manual tests. He has great bedside manner & very knowledgeable. Great skillset & very friendly. He's always smiling. I also work with him at times & EVERYONE loves him; that's why i chose him as well.
