Dr. Johnston is an excellent doctor specializing in mens urology. He saves lives every day.
My husband saw Dr. Johnston this morning, so professional. We went to Dr. Johnston for a 2nd opinion for a prostate cancer diagnosis. The wait was minimal and he took the time to discuss all options. We never felt rushed. Dr. Jphsnton will be my husband's new urologist.
I would highly recommend Dr. Johnston to anyone in need of quality care and advice. He listens extremely well. He is amazingly skilled and competent. And last but not least he is caring. This is a great combination in anyone but in a physician it is most wonderful.
I had my first pre-surgery appointment with Dr. Johnston today and was very impressed by his detailed explanation of the nature of illness, surgery procedure, prep and post -op information. He answered all my questions, provided the written instructions, PT referral and submitted all the med info to PCP and urologist. I feel confident to have him do my surgery.
Went in to the er in the middle of the night day before my son's wedding for kidneystones after testing in er found out stone was to big to pass on my own and was infected I would have missed my son's wedding if it was not for Dr Johnston ! He agreed after hearing my story to come in and do an emergency procedure in the middle of the night just so I could make it to my son's wedding I will never forget that ! Dr. Johnston performed the robotic surgery to remove my prostate. He explained the procedure and recovery in depth. When faced with Prostrate cancer you have many questions and concerns but need to move quickly. Dr. Johnston was fantastic and was very thorough and help me understand everything and put my mind at ease and what to expect during the surgery and recovery. He suggested physical therapy prior to surgery which accelerated my recovery.

Dr. Johnston treated me recently for Renal cell carcinoma on my left kidney. The diagnosis was sudden and unexpected, and required a nephrectomy to remove the mass and the affected kidney. I’m a 37 year old healthy female, so this was something I was not prepared for. I was obviously very nervous and had a ton of questions, and Dr. Johnston made the entire experience feel positive for me. What can say? Dr. Johnston is fantastic. He did my prostate surgery and I went to him for a second opinion when I didn't feel comfortable with my first referral. It was my first surgery in my life and I'm Canadian now living in the US. He prepared me extremely well, very quickly/efficiently and his bedside manner through the whole surgery was impeccable.
