The fact that Doc Phillips researched and took his time with me after having 11 left knee surgeries was awesome. He took the time to listen and see where I wanted to be after surgery was great. I am 7 weeks out after surgery and am doing way better already than I was before. He did such and incredible job that I recommend him for any knee surgery because was a mess prior to and now I'm on the way to a great recovery. Thanks Doc
He did a remarkable job to my knee. I would refer anyone to him he’s number 1.
This doctor deserves applause and recognition beyond skill and bedside manner. He genuinely cares about his patients and their recovery. His years of experience and dedication to his craft are evident from the first conversation to the final follow up visit. I almost felt as if my father or uncle were taking care of me! Bravo, Dr. Phillips. You are in rare company!
Started by arriving 35 minutes late (I had first appointment of the day). Never touched me, observed my gait or anything he wrote on my history and physical. He stated “if I don’t cut I don’t make money”. Extremely dishonest. Doubtful this review gets posted
I met Dr. Phillips when I was referred to him for a torn meniscus. After therapy, my knee had not improved so surgery was necessary. A few years after that I needed a knee replacement. Then I had surgery for shoulder impingement followed by replacement of the other knee. The last surgery was for a torn rotator cuff. All of the surgeries were successful. I have full range of motion on my shoulders and I am able to walk as much as I want. What made the surgeries successful was Dr. Phillip’s excellent work combined with my comp... read more
Dr Phillips performed a total knee replacement on me three and one half weeks ago. The results have been amazing, while I am still recovering and in therapy the mobility and rate of healing is amazing. I had my other knee replaced successfully fifteen years ago and this experience is better and more tolerable on every level. I appreciate Dr Phillips level of skill as well as his willingness and ability to communicate in easily understandable terms. I highly recommend him if you are considering orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Phillips is a compassionate doctor who is professional, knowledgeable, explains diagnosis & treatment plan, is thorough, and is dedicated to his profession. He is friendly, caring, and his staff is the same. My THR was un-believably easy - no pain & recovery as anticipated. I required a TH revision on the opposite hip due to a not-so-perfect THR done by a physician in South Texas. The recovery has been longer and not pain free but Dr. Phillips has followed me closely and made good decisions about my care. I have absolute... read more
He is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon as well as personable and easy to talk to. He gave me reason to trust him. He gave me facts and opinions, too. He is a "real person" and encouraged questions, concerns and conversation. Post op, which was a breeze, by the way, held no surprises because of excellent pre op teaching.
I would recommend his services to anyone needing excellent care.
