I hate to see what I believe to be are fake reviews being left for Dr. Whitley. He does not have a PA nor has he ever. He is very compassionate and his staff is amazing. Dr. Whitley is known to be the most thorough and best vascular surgeon in Alabama. I know from first hand experience.

I read a couple of the reviews and wondered if they were left on the correct doctor because they did not make sense. I have been a patient of Dr. Whitley’s since he was at UAB - almost 25 years- and he had never had a PA. Also, he would never be the type of surgeon to miss a critical diagnosis as one review stated. Told my husband while he was waiting to go back to surgery in the holding area, to hurry up with his questions.. That he was ‘Holding Up’ the Operating Room.. Ive been a preop RN for 38 years and never heard a surgeon so uncaring or rude to a patient prior to their surgery.. unbelievable!

He I don't see why, nothing shows on the mri. He made me very uncomfortable with his condescending attitude. I'm just doing what my doctor said I needed to do and who to see, he's the one who chose for me to see him. He said he'd set up another test, this is after already having 2 mri done in last month and a half. When they call with that appointment I'll be telling them ... read more

Dr. Whitley is the rudest, coldest and most unprofessional doctor I have ever been to. He also missed a critical diagnosis.

Dr. Whitley and Dr. Quinney recently performed surgery on my 14 y/o for thoracic outlet syndrome. These doctors are the best and cared for my son like he was their own.
