I don’t understand the negative responses. I’ve been seeing him a long time. I have extreme migraines and he saved me. Very easy to speak to. Doesn’t rush the appointment. Yes, the lady at the front desk has a different personality. I don’t have a problem with her.
The doctor is just fine but the lady that does the check ins is completely unprofessional. I was there for an appointment for my father and she made me and my 1 year old leave because there were others waiting and he was “making them nervous”. Literally nobody was complaining and the people waiting were picking at him and smiling at him. I believe she just didn’t like that he was walking around the waiting room.
I took my mother to Dr. King last year in May because she was having serious balance issues and I noticed that she was having memory issues. When she told him that she felt dizzy, he was very condescending and told us that sometimes older people start falling. He told us that she should use a walker even though she was already using one and had it with her in his office. He had ordered an MRI but said that he didn’t see anything unusual on it. This doctor should find a new profession! It was evident, right away, that he really didn't care about listening to me explain my symptoms. He is the worst doctor I've ever been to in my 63 years of life. The entire visit was so uncomfortable because of his lack of compassion, lack of listening, very rude, bad communication skills and I could go on and on. Don't waste your time or your money. The worst doctor ever!
I was diagnosed with complexed partial seizures in 2006. My Dr. retired so I was sent to Dr. King. He treated me for 2 years. He eventually decided that I was seizure free & wanted to take me off my meds. Seizures begins. My family & I spoke with him regarding my visits. He was loud very abrupt.he admitted he is only a neurologist. Not Epilepsy Dr. We ask why he had been treating me for 2years for nothing. Very irritated. If you have Parkinson’s, do not have Wesley King in charge of your care.
Dr. King is an excellent doctor and a very wise and compassionate man. He took time to thoroughly check my issue and gave me excellent advice. Not only is he a great doctor but he also helped me to understand another doctor that I felt had caused me to feel uncomfortable. I think he genuinely cares about all people.
Easy to talk too
Dr. King is extremely thorough. Takes his time with you and listens carefully to your situation. Highly recommend him!
