Jerl just finished work at my house to fix a problem with my dryer and refrigerator. Work was done very professionally with full explanation of all work to be done before starting, total cost and even some recommendations for future work. Showed up when scheduled and took care to not make any mess. I will be sure to contact them in the future for any electrical work.

We had someone out today to work on our under cabinet lighting. We had two lights that were not working and after he left and $310 later we still have no lights. He originally suggested for US to replace both lights. One of the lights we just had him remove and requested to cover the wires. This was fine, but now you see a box hanging from under the cabinet. The other he said needed to be replaced (by us). So, we paid $310 for a electrician to come to our home and tell us to replace a light and install a box hanging from und... read more

The service person was very friendly and professional but all we needed was one breaker changed but they were not willing to do that. Wanted to change the entire box which was not needed for anywhere between 3500 and 6500 dollars plus we paid 89 dollars for the quote. Price too high. Always want to do a large job when not needed. Sorry we wasted their time

Business response:

My name is James. I am the owner of Dr Watts. I will investigate why our tech quoted a panel vs just installing a breaker

We had work today on our GFCI Outlet in our Garage that kept popping during Humid or Wet Weather. This circuit control the outlets to the Sprinkler System, Water Softener and Outside Outlets on the Patio and other location outside of our house. Jess and David Troubleshot the Problem, determined that the outside Outlets had moisture in the Boxes. They then Replaced the Outlet and installed better Waterproof Cover than was installed by the builder three years ago. They intently listened to my concerns and provided feedback as ... read more

They charge an unreasonable fee for 30 minutes of service, I can understand a $69 service call but, $252 additional for 20-30 minutes of work simply to replace the connectors I had used with screw on connectors. I'll never trust another electric service again. I should have simply said No not for that amount and simply called another electrician. Never again Mr. Watts

We had a very disappointing experience with Mr. Watts. The electrician was respectful but having been told about the 69.00 service charge, we were them told we would have to pay a 310.00 diagnostic fee no matter what was found to be wrong. We declined service, paid 69.00 and called a local electrician who charged us a total of $40.00 to fix a ground fault plug.

Business response:

My name is James. I'm the owner of Dr Watts Electric. I am sorry for your dissatisfaction with our service. We like to give a true cost up front with no hidden fees. When we repair a gfi plug, we find the root of the problem, we do not just reset it. There is a cause for your plug to trip or go out and I'm afraid you will be dealing with this again in the future. Also all my techs are licensed, trained, drug tested and background checked so you have the best techs in the area in your home. We also pay them top wages for thei... read more
