I would highly suggest Dr Kennard as a wonderful surgeon. He operated on my husband in 2017 in July for Gallbladder and me in 2018 in June. I'm a big baby he got me through this. I waited 14 years to get mine out. I was lucky mine didn't get infected like my husbands. Though my husband didn't know he had a bad GB. Dr K doesn't baby anyone but he was kind and he's a great surgeon!!!
Dr Kennard came highly recommended as a very skilled an experienced surgeon by two of my long-time physicians (her GI and family practitioner). He did a very large (type 3) hiatal hernia repair and a gall bladder removal. After the surgery, he came out and showed detailed color pictures to my family, explaining what he had done and why it was necessary. He was extremely thorough and did a very high-quality repair from all accounts. Now, 2 months post surgery, I am doing great.
I would suggest to stay away! Horrible bedside manner and Horrible doctor that nearly cost my life!
I highly recommend Dr Kennard. He was able to consult and schedule the necessary surgery in a very short timeframe. He provided excellent information and allowed time to address all my questions. He ensured the necessary lab tests had been run, proactively heading off any surprises in surgery. He personally checked in on me multiple times in the prep room. He is friendly and has a good sense of humor. Surgery went flawlessly! His office staff is wonderful as well!
I did not realize the severity of my condition and having met with Dr. Kennard helped me to to understand my condition and overcome the longevity of potentially worse case sencerio. He was not only sincere but also caring

Might be a great surgeon but will not listen to you, all he wants is yes or no answers (sometimes circumstances need more than yes or no answer), belittled us for having to large of bandage over wound, likes to play games that makes you feel inferior (just seeing if your paying attention), intimidates, belittles, has to have last word, dread office visits, (sounds like good health care doesn't it?) I think he gets all of his patients thru hospital emergency rooms.
Dr. Kennard took out my appendix when I came into the ER. I had never met him before and I was very comfortable allowing him to be my surgeon the moment I met him. I feel very blessed to have him as my surgeon. He will be also the one to take out my gall bladder soon.
