He has been excellent in my care to date
I have had a lot of frustration trying to resolve the treatment of 3 massive kidney stones. While Dr. Gillett is a nice man, he does not keep communication open. My 89 year old mother was admitted into MMC through the ER. He was the doctor on call. She has not seen him since being admitted with the exception of one lithotripsy treatment. All other appointments were with other nurses or doctors. It has been over 2 months. He hasn't even called to tell us what's next! He doesn't answer my calls.
In the 2 (urgent) conditions I saw Dr. Gillett, I found him to be exceptionally kind. He took the time to explain things and in both surgeries that he did everything went very smoothly with no complications. I trust Dr. Gillett explicitly and hope if I need a urologist in the future that he is available.
