The experience at Alexander Orthopedic Associates has been above and beyond when it comes to professionalism, friendly staff and results. When Dr. Alexander provided my options for medical treatment for both of my knees, unfortunately there was only one option- knee replacements, I immediately knew this was going to be the most challenging event on my life. Came to Dr Alexander for a total knee replacement and couldn't be happier with the outcome. The pre-surgery appointments were informative and precise in what I would face in both the surgery and subsequent rehabilitation. The surgery went smoothly at Palms of Pasadena hospital and the medical and nursing staff were simply outstanding. The rehabilitation staff (beginning with Peter) are equally impressive. I had two total knee replacements last year, one was a hospital stay, the other was as an outpatient. The outpatient experience was by far the better of the two experiences. Went to SurgCenter NE in the morning and was home by 6 or so that evening. Being in my own surroundings with my partner as my caregiver was the superior experience. If you are considering surgery, I would highly recommend the outpatient option vs the hospital stay if you are a candidate.
